The Bohinj region is home to more than 1000 different species of plants. Botanical tours are a great way to see the variety of plants, some of them unique to only Bohinj. Some of these unique plants also appear in traditional Slovene folktales, the most famous being the Triglav Flower in the Goldenhorn (Zlatorog).
