Španski Borci

Španski Borci, or 'Spanish Fighters' is a welcome addition to the already flourishing cultural and artistic scene in Ljubljana. The centre, located in the neighbourhood of Moste a couple kilometres east of the city centre, runs an eclectic range of both domestic and foreign productions. The program combines performing and visual arts, music, literature, humanism, and childrens' and youth events. There's also a permanent gallery space and café. The centre is also the first permanent home to a contemporary dance ensemble, EnKnapGroup, providing much needed rehearsal/perfoming space and the necessary infrastructure. All this should make for a vibrant and innovative arts community, well worth checking out the current program when you're in town.
