With a diverse series of permanent exhibitions, and various workshops put on for children, a few hours spent exploring the Regional Museum is a great way to learn about Maribor's, and its surroundings', history. The Regional Museum's premises is also rich with culture and history, having been located within the Maribor Castle since 1938.
