Sopot now has a modern train station building incorporating restaurants, cafes, shops, offices and a modern city library. There are two platforms one serving the local SKM train and the other the national network, both of which have been beautifully renovated to their pre-war appearance. The local SKM service usually uses Platform 1 but will occasionally change to other platforms (keep an eye on the information boards). Long-distance trains (including national and international) use platforms 2-5. The beach, pier, cafes and restaurants are all within a 10 minute walk and the nearest tourist information office is close to the station on ul. Dworcowa.
