Andrzej Zujewicz usually creates large series of paintings, consisting of several dozen works, often taking inspiration from the state of humankind, as well as the animal kingdom, natural phenomena, and elements and everyday life. A common theme is often the what is repetitive, cyclical, earthly or otherworldly. Zujewicz's own life is a source of inspiration; he often paints self-portraits and finds a way to work his own personal thoughts into his works. His latest series, Password Images, combines elements of graphic art and painting, based on a unique (if not pioneering) technique of stamping a letter slogan or a sign directly on a painting canvas made in linoleum. The artist has been constantly experimenting, making compositions, occasionally op-artistic, abstract, and combining them with real elements.
