The exhibition "Knaf's Not Dead" at the State Art Gallery in Sopot is the first posthumous, monographic exhibition of Leszek Knaflewski's oeuvre. This fascinating artist was a creator of installations, drawings, audio-performances, and video works. He was the former member of the experimental bands Rasa, Drum Machina and KOT, and co-creator of the Koło Klipsa group in Poznań. Knaflewski's artwork from that period is filled with emotion and dark intuition and serves as a strong commentary on clericalism, commercialism, abuse of power, and radicalism of ideology. In addition, educating young people was of high importance to the artist. As a professor he paid particular attention to the issue of teaching methods and the nature of the requirements placed on students, often limiting their creativity.
