The 'Fotoklub' exhibition, featuring Polish and foreign photographs, have been gathered from a number of private collections within Poland, presenting an eclectic mix of works that cover themes of body image, carnality and gender identity. Fotoklub is a circular collecting community, for which philanthropy is important, supporting artists with purchases, but also with the production of special editions and volumes. At the exhibition at PGS, the artist who presents his photo on special terms is Piotr Uklański, invited by Fotoklub. His black-and-white photograph, thoroughly romantic, alluding to Frederic Chopin's posthumous mask, fits in with the leading theme, asking the question about the framework of representation and the identity of the model.
