Marša: Café Figa in the centre, it has super coffee, great service and it’s a top location.
SIYP: Where is your favourite place to relax in Split?
Marša: For me it’s Katalinka. It is the playground which overlooks Bačvice and the rest of Split, and down towards Makarska. It’s a very peaceful place with few people, yet the view is sensational. The perfect place to sit by the sea and soak in its beauty!
SIYP: What is the best way to discover the city? Which activities do you recommend?
Marša: Purchase an ice cream and stroll along the waterfront, as well as the inner city and western front. Then I suggest renting a bike and riding up to the Marijan Hill. This way you get a taste of culture, history, the people, and Mother Nature. All in one!
SIYP: What is the most ideal place to shop? What do you recommend as a souvenir from Split?
Marša: I always go to the City Centre one for shopping. There are lots of choices and it’s quite close for me. Souvenirs to buy include lavender, wine, ham ...
SIYP: Which of the local specialties do you recommend as a "must-try" for visitors?
Marša: Definitely fish, pašticada, risotto and cuttlefish at Fife.
