Located not far from the Ligovsky Prospect metro station (or a 15 minute walk from Nevsky), Barbaria can be loosely described as a Mediterranean-style restaurant. Both the décor and the menu draw influences from all over the region, from Turkey to Morocco to Spain. The wide variety of influences means that the menu can satisfy a range of tastes, from the spicy and exotic to less adventurous shashlik or chicken and potatoes. The restaurant makes a convenient spot for lunch or dinner after visiting the very interesting (and Soviet-styled) Arctic & Antarctic Museum.
