Soviet Belarusian guitar virtuoso Valery Mikhailovich, otherwise known as DiDuLa, will play a Christmas show to St Petersburg crowds this coming January. Lending an orchestral sound, DiDuLa’s combination of folk and new age guitar will be accompanied by a selection of classical string instruments such as violas, cellos and the double bass as he deftly moves from flamenco inspired pieces to a folk/pop blend. DiDuLa was first gifted a guitar at age 5 and since then has authored more than 120 instrumental arrangements, proving himself to be a modern master of guitar.
