A smashing hotel, and even better for a sensible pricing policy which fails to reflect the quality on show. Set just outside the city limits, Stacja has an almost country club swagger with a quiet lakeside location, playground and fabulous pool. Rooms, inside a modern lodge, are fitted in pleasant forest green shades, and include air-con, sat TV, mini-fridge, fast internet connection, a safe and views of the wooded landscapes outside. Their bucolic gardens also play host to many weddings in the warmer months but make sure to contact them well in advance (they can organise cook outs for you as well). You may be out of town, but who needs Piotrkowska when you’ve got one of the best restaurants right at your doorstep.
