Located midway down the Great Stairs ('Wielki Schody,' around the corner from the TI office), fans of the Moomins will be drawn to this restaurant thanks to a cute carving of Snufkin ('Włóczykij' in Polish) above the door. Upon entry however, rather than a rustic tavern, guests will find a rather run-of-the-mill interior of exposed brick and tile, punctuated with photos from exotic destinations across the world, and a huge wood-carved world map. The please-them-all menu purveys local fare, plus pasta, pizza and pancakes, but each month they do zero in on a different type of world cuisine. The results are okay, but the kitchen works so slowly you'll think the cooks are just sitting in the back smoking pipes and playing the harmonica, or maybe they've wandered out of the valley indefinitely... Either way, we'd give it a swerve.
