Katowice's Tauron New Music is as old (young?) and as influential as OFF Festival, and its goal is showcasing the best new electronic music. They have reason to boast, as they won the title of Best Small European Festival at the European Festival Awards in 2010, 2012, and 2014; and they've certainly succeeded at popularising Katowice and Silesia. Plus they get mad props for hosting the festival at a closed coal mine (now the site of the newly opened Silesian Museum), using the region's industrial landscape to create a unique feel.

2026's international and inter-gene lineup continues to deliver the most interesting sounds in contemporary music encapsulating jazz, electronic, and dance rhythms. On the billing so far are Apparat, John Digweed, Dave Clarke, Hania Rani, Kangding Ray, Princess Nokia, Efdemin, Blawan, Busy P, JMSN, Erol Alkan, Gui Boratto, Herbert & Momoko and many more.
