A fun and creative activity to get you in the Christmas spirit, Braamfontein's The Playground Market hosts a Christmas Makers Club where you can create your own Christmas decorations and gift-wrapping accessories. The session is led by the creative team from Art in Motion who provide the materials and equipment you'll need to create beautiful gift-wrapped goods. Also, a nice group activity so gather your friends for this one.

After your DIY session, make sure to support the Make A Wish campaign – decorate the tree at the market by donating R5 or more, then making a wish on one of the tags, and placing it on the Christmas tree. Donations go towards hampers for The Playground Market's staff and their families.⁠

The Christmas Makers Session session takes place from 10:30-13:00. Ticket R250, includes all equipment, and free entrance to the market.
