Tirana

Culture & Continuity Museum

Sheshi Skenderbej     more than a year ago
A tiny museum inside an equally diminutive building at the foot of the Clock Tower containing 40 or so examples of Albanian domestic artefacts from silk shirts to hand-woven socks. The items on display date from 1920 onwards, the year Tirana became the Albanian capital, which goes a long way to explaining the museum’s unusual name. Note that the museum is closed for most of 2016 and is scheduled to open in December of the same year.
