This tiny museum celebrating the history of the blind and partially-sighted people of Lithuania is packed with intriguing displays, from miscellaneous items made by the blind to small models of the country’s most important buildings and monuments designed for people to touch and understand how they appear. The museum also highlights some of the country’s more renowned blind citizens, among them athletes, artists and the inspiring woman who became the 1976 Soviet chess champion, Stasė Ingaunytė.
