An opera in two acts from the musical mind of Mozart himself, Don Giovanni has been doing the high culture rounds since 1787, when it debuted in Prague’s famous Estates Theatre. It was eventually revised for its debut in Vienna, as Mozart wanted to please his home crowd. Will that same home crowd be wowed at Staatsoper in November?
