Active since the 1980s, Brazilian artist Fernanda Gomes has made magic from the ordinary, taking simple and affordable materials to create incredible pieces of work that echo the ideas of Brazilian constructivism. Anything can be moulded into a work of art, and Gomes knows that better than most. An exhibition of her work is at Secession between April and June.
