One of the most anticipated events of the MuseumsQuartier summer program, Stinking Dawn is an installation like no other. This walk-in stage design is more than it seems, doubling up as a constantly evolving film setting, where Gelatin and Liam Gillick will brave fate and find themselves shot in situ. The film plans on exploring the limits of human tolerance in an intolerable environment, a world of political oppression where humans no longer understand the value of truth within themselves. That might sound a little intense, but such is the future we find ourselves facing. Stinking Dawn promises to be an artistic and intellectual triumph.
