This is the 9th edition of a program aimed at giving an opportunity to young artists, having them create works especially for the Project Room space. Selected from 150 candidates, creatives Kornelia Dzikowska, Jan Baszak, Adelina Cimochowicz, Piotr Bruch, Sebastian Sebulc and Marek Wodzisławski will be on display throughout 2020 at the Ujazdowski Castle Center for Contemporary Art. Currently in-house is Adelina Cimochowicz, an artist in the medium of video and photography and heavily-involved with various community activities. In her works, she explores borderline emotional states and nervous crises. Graduating in architecture from the Białystok University of Technology and the Faculty of Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Cimochowicz is also laureate of the Grand Prix of the Young Wolves competition, the Special Jury Prize of the Hestia Artistic Journey competition and the Maria Anto and Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven. Once the Project Room wraps up for the year, a jury will select two artists to receive a financial grant of 20,000zł and 10,000zł respectively, as well as the opportunity to do their own exhibition in Ujazdowski.
