Set inside the Sobański Palace what was (and indeed still is) the domain of the Polish Business Round Table Club has now opened its doors to the paying public. From the outside it looks the sort of place you’d see Prince Charles walking around shaking hands, though inside, and in spite of the marble and chandeliers, it’s a well designed area with more than a nod to modernist touches. The seasonal menu includes such must-haves asSturgeon fillet, La Ratte potatoes, cauliflower assiette, beetroot, caviar buerre blanc. Has Polish cuisine ever sounded so exciting? Of course, such pleasures aren’t cheap, but then neither are they in the astronomic zone you’d be likely to presume.
