20 years ago Andy Rottenberg, a curator and art historian, put together a collection of 70 artworks - paintings, photographs, drawings, prints and sculptures. The collection is commemorating 100th anniversary of Polish National Bank, partner and sponsor of many exhibitions organised by the National Museum of Warsaw. The artworks are organised chronologically - starting with senior artists: Stefan Gierowski, Jacek Sempoliński, Jan Tarasin, Zbigniew Makowski, followed by the 70s artists: Tomasz Ciecierski, Krzysztof Bednarski, Edward Dwurnik, Łukasz Korolkiewicz, Zofia Kulik, Teresa Murak, and finally, the youngest generation: Ryszard Grzyb, Jarosław Modzelewski, Włodzimierz Pawlak, Tomasz Tatarczyk and Mariusz Kruk. The exhibition is accompanied by many lectures, workshops, films and meetings with artists.
