The latest in a long line of projects by art, culture and gastronomy whizz kids, The Warsaw Group, sees the superb, modernist Łepkowski white villa in Saska Kępa (built in 1935, architects: Lucjan KorngoldandPiotr Lubiński) awaken from its many years of slumber. Initial outrage by some locals, based on the fact this is an important listed building and also marks a frontline for Polish troops battling the German army in WWII, appears to have subdued as the guys approach the project with the utmost respect for the architecture. Frequent weekend events take place so check their FB page for the latest planned shenanigans.
