Visiting Poland and not attending a Chopin concert is like... going to the Vatican without seeing the Pope, as a certain saying goes. It's beautiful outside this time of year (okay - most of the time), and Łazienki Park is lush green, soothing and lovely - even more so when soundtracked by a master pianist. This concert series, dating back to 1959 and now in its 58th season, will present recitals by 41 of the world's best ivory ticklers each Sunday underneath the park's famous Chopin statue. With free admission, this is just a fantastic way to relax and unwind. Full programme available online.
