The 14th edition of the WARSAW UNDER CONSTRUCTION (PL: WARSZAWA W BUDOWIE) festival casts its gaze to the design of street space and urban mobility. Amongst the many challenges to the idea of civic planning is are issues around limiting the role car in the city's public space in favour of greenery, public transport and access for pedestrians. Does the idea of separation (so-called 'zoning') of urban functions require modification? What solutions used abroad could work in Warsaw? How can these ideas be communicated and undertaken by the city's residents? Present in the materials and media on display are works of art, films and the hosting of festival meetings to confront the questions posed above.
