Following their predominantly sold-out and highly successful debut tour last year, Vök AKA "The Icelandic XX" are coming back to Poland for two back-to-back performances in Sopot and Warsaw. Though it's always cool to be compared to The XX, Vök have no shortage of their own style—a selected, curated combination of some of the finest elements and styles of music that speak to them: a little bit of trip-hop (hat-tip to Portishead and Massive Attack), a dash of modern electro-pop (hello The Knife, Fever Ray, and Little Dragon), elements of R&B (The Weekend, James Blake) and indie-rock—with just the right amount of Icelandic roots to balance it all out.
