The exhibition entitled The Incarnated is a presentation of works from the Lower Silesian Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts. The key focus for inclusion was the use of the body. Treated by artists as a medium and a metaphor, the body has become both the starting point for artistic transformations and a pretext for initiating perception and experience. The “incarnated” include social issues, individual identity issues, and the human body’s place in contemporary reality.
