Professor Balthazar and the a monument to the Invisible Citizen
This exhibition explores in a playful and engaging way Professor Balthazar, a cartoon from the Zagreb School of Animated Film studio which was wildly famous in Yugoslavia but may also be known to viewers from countries as far-flung as the US, Australiaand China. The exhibition illustrates the political environment in which the series was created and the life-affirming values which it reflects.
