The revival of a tradition that began before WW1 continues each and every Saturday when the firing of the Grič cannon from the Lotrščak Tower starts off the ceremony exactly at noon. Members of the Guard, 3 officers and 26 soldiers dressed in ceremonial uniform march through the streets and find their way to St. Mark’s Square for the official exchange. The ceremony lasts 10-15 minutes in total.
