With a number of amazing concerts, festivals and events, Pula is the place to be this July.

Simple Minds, the legendary Scottish band will be the first to open this year's season in Pula with a show that will be held in the Pula Arena on July 3, where Lenny Kravitz, a man who needs no introduction himself, will perform on July 28. Furthermore, Francesca Tandoi, a highly talented jazz trio, will perform at the Backstage Live Pula Festival on July 7. However, if you have an urge for some cultural uprising, Pula Summer of Culture is providing a series of such events with a Small Roman Theatre as the main happening on July 20. Last but certainly not least, the Pula Film Festival invites all the movie buffs to experience classic cinema under the stars at the Pula Arena from July 11 – 18.

Dubravka Lošić is a Croatian, contemporary, freelance artist. She has been exhibiting her works consisting of paintings, installations, objects and costume designs, for which she has won numerous awards, since the 1980s. She will be showcasing a number of her works created between the years 1986 and 2023 in an exhibition called Punćela in the Gallery of Fine Arts, Split from June 8 – July 28. The exhibition will testify to the artist's unique and distinctive style which she achieves by blending traditional concepts of easel painting with modern and creative practices such as the use of unconventional materials.

The Courtyards is a unique yearly manifestation which reveals all the secluded oases hidden away in the very best shades of the Zagreb Upper Town. This year's 10th edition of the event will let you in on 10 perfect hangout places, consisting of courtyards and gardens, roaming with good music, good food, great fun and refreshing drinks for this hot July season. The festivities will last from July 12 – 23.

The Sljeme Run is a 14 km marathon taking place on Medvednica hill on July 13. The Marathon has existed since the year of 2000, but has introduced something new each following year. This year's edition is opening up a 5 km marathon alongside the 14 km one for all the beginner runners and those who might just want to take it a bit more easy this year. Whatever the case might be, everyone is welcome.

The Zagreb Film Festival has taken upon themselves the liberty of introducing a unique selection of films this summer under the title of Summer Days of  ZFF in the beloved open-air summer stage of the cinema Tuškanac. The programme itself consists of highly praised and awarded pieces of cinema involving Excursion by Una Gunjak, 20 000 Species of Bees by Estibaliz Urresola Solaguren, Lost Country by Vladimir Perišić and Housekeeping for Beginners by Goran Stolevski  showcasing from July 17 – 20.

The Ballet of Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb will perform one of Shakespeare's best known works under the name we all know as Hamlet. The story of Hamlet represents all that it means to be a human being with emotions such as love, doubt, joy, despair, bitterness, courage, naivety, intelligence and everything else that makes us. This large ensemble performance will present a newer interpretation of the Shakespeare's classic to audiences at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival on July 21.

Hidden Faces, an exhibition with over 120 of Salvador Dali's original works from his personal collection, Kesauri is coming to Croatia for the first time this summer. Dali's lithographs, sculptures, medals, serigraphs on silver and silk, along with other impressive art pieces that secured him a place among the greatest names in the art world of today, will be on display in the Cate Dujšin Ribar Gallery located within the Trogir City Museum from June 5 – September 28.

S.A.R.S. is an annual two-day alternative music festival. It's well known for promoting and supporting young, creative and enthusiastic bands and artists who create an amazing summer atmosphere from the stage of the town of Sinj.  This year's lineup is divided between July 19 and July 20 and includes Djigibaoo, Pips Chips & Videoclips, Rambo Amadeus, Klinika Denisa Kataneca, The Countess, Stereotip, Goran Bare & Majke, and Ultimatum.

Altamira is an exhibition that tells the story of the famous Altamira cave, which was discovered in 1868 near Santillana del Mar. The cave is famous worldwide for the Paleolithic paintings and engravings which were discovered in its interior a decade later. The exhibition showcases a great number of such motifs including animal figures and hand drawings dating from 35000 years ago to the youngest which are about 15000 years old. It is open to visitors from May 17 – August 31 and can be found in the Vučedol Culture Museum in Vukovar.

The 24th edition of the Liburnia Jazz Festival is bringing three incredible Jazz ensembles to the open-air Theatre in Opatija on July 5 and 6. The lineup includes Denis Razz, the famous Croatian sax player,  leading the Denis  Razumović Razz. Furthermore Leon Brenko, one of the most respected pianists and keyboardists in the Croatian music scene, leading the Leon Brenko Quartet and last but not least, Richard Galliano, the legendary French accordionist will lead the Richard Galliano & New York Tango Trio.

Chitchat Under the Hat is an exhibition by contemporary artist, Staša Čimbur, in the Virovitica City Museum. Staša's artistic style is well known for her keen interest in creative ways of accesorizing with hats, bags, containers and all sorts of other headwear. The exhibition focuses merely on hats as ways of expressing our own individual and unique style, personality and characteristics. The exhibition further describes the hat as our personal space where we live „in our own four walls“. The exhibition is open from June 14 – July 31.
