Going east, this exhibit is dedicated to an ethnic group from Turkey, ‘The Yörüks’, many of who lead a nomadic life. It focuses on the clothes, rituals, symbols, and social values of marriage, in particular the décor and symbolism used to decorate the bride. Approximately 40 photographs depict the aesthetics, beauty, hope, sorrow, joy, fun, love, and everything that bestows ‘the Yörük bride’.
