Croatia is blessed with diverse local cuisines which still form an important part of local and national identity. The festival <em><strong>Kaj su jeli naši stari</strong></em><strong> </strong>(“What our folks used to eat”) is a celebration of the food of the Vrbovec region east of Zagreb. A programme of workshops shows you how to make these tasty goodies, as well as demonstrating local crafts and more, and there’s a brilliant programme of entertainment including traditional games and a packed programme of music.
