The hotel was actually built in 1960 by the famous designer and architect Arne Jacobsen, who designed every part of the hotel, even the furnishing, but undergone renovation in 2007, which helped it get a modern touch, while maintaining the old feel of the 60s and its famous Danish Design. An interesting thing about this hotel is that it was the very first skyscraper in Copenhagen, how awesome is that?
