Shopping Malls in Sofia

With 5 malls already working and another 3 due to open by the end of 2012, one could say Sofia is oversupplied. The first two were in or close to the city centre while the latest batch will all be on or close to the ringroad. The malls have a good mix of international and local brand names, and some have cinemas, bowling alleys and other entertainment options.

Mall of Sofia

Mall of Sofia
Fairly centrally located shopping mall with a large cinema complex. As one of the first malls to be built, it is smaller than its predecessors but its proximity to the city centre and the nearby metro station ensure it is well frequented. Read_on (No Comments)

Serdika Centre

Large shopping mall, opened in 2010, and our personal favourite, both for the retail mix and the location which is easily accessible from the city centre by car and public transport. Read_on (No Comments)

Sofia Outlet Centre

We were all excited by the idea of a whole shopping mall full of outlet stores when it opened in 2010. Unfortunately it has suffered from its difficult location on the outskirts of town, close to the Metro cash and carry store, which make it accessible only by car. Read_on (No Comments)

The Mall

Sofia's largest shopping mall, opened in 2010. Boasts not just shops but also 8 cinema screens, large entertainment centre with bowling alley, pool tables, etc, large food hall and Sofia's only Carrefour supermarket in the basement. Read_on (No Comments)
