Shopping around Langstrasse

Shopping in Zurich is not just Bahnhofstrasse and the old town. There are other districts which are well worth a visit for shoppers - especially if you are hunting for some cool clothes and accessories and would like a break from the big global brands. The area around the southern end of Langstrasse in district n°4 (aka Chreis Cheib) definitely is such an area. Every few steps you come across another enticing little shop on Langstrasse or in the side streets. Generally it’s less glittery and glamourous here than on Bahnhofstrasse, but much more urban and cosmopolitan with many young, Swiss labels. We list some of our favourites below. Langstrasse is closer than you think, and not only worth the visit for the nightlife!
