Polish restaurants going for that country cottage theme are 10 a penny in Kraków these days, but this one justifies inclusion because of its 'location, location, location' on the market square, its bright, stripped pine décor and the presentation. Dishes like 'ribs baked in honey and wine with fried cabbage and baked potatoes' literally arrive on silver platters, and the waitresses in folk attire give tourists the impression that they've found the prototypical Polish food experience. That they have, though hardly an exceptional one.
