Travel from Lebanon to Syria

Travelling between Lebanon and Syria can be done by using a combination of minibuses, on the direct four-weekly bus run by Singer Tours, or by private taxi. It's a scenic ride along a busy road crossing two mountain ranges, taking 2-3 hours depending on the border formalities.

Many taxi companies run between the two capitals, offering private or shared rides, with prices around $75-150 one way, less if you share. Below are some companies and drivers that come recommended by the Traveller Community Syria group in 2026.
