Crammed with exhibits aimed at enlightening visitors on the subject of Lithuania’s military history over the past several centuries, this maze-like confusion of rooms features a couple of fascinating history lessons amongst the artefacts. Although much on display is of little interest to non-specialists, it’s worth forking out the admission price for a glimpse of the crumpled remains of the fated aircraft that carried the pilots Darius and Girėnas across the Atlantic in July 1933 and the tattered uniforms they were wearing on the day they lost their lives.
