Franz Kafka Monument

This untraditional bronze sculpture sits in front of the Spanish Synagogue in the Josef Quarter. Designed by Jaroslav Róna, the sculptor was apparently inspired by Kafka’s story Description of a Struggle. The creation of the statue was initiated by the Franz Kafka Society and the 3.7 metre tall piece was unveiled in 2003.
