With the opening of Barley & Co, Liepāja finally has a bar specialising in craft brews from the Baltic as well as other corners of the European continent. A list of eight draught beers is constantly being amended at the far end of this cosy half basement amply supplied with unique wooden and metal furnishings, but you can also choose from a wide variety of beer in bottles from Belgian Trappist brews to Spanish fruit beers. Of particular interest are Latvian herbal beers produced by Riga’s Labietis brewery. Dogs are also welcome.
