A former porcelain factory has been transformed into a huge shopping and entertainment complex a short ride away from the city centre. Akropole Riga not only offers hundreds of shops, but also an indoor ice skating rink, roughly 30 eating and drinking options including O’Leary’s (home to a sports bar, bowling alley and a virtual reality area), Latvia’s first IMAX cinema, a supermarket (08:00 - 23:00) and a gym (06:00 - 23:00, Sat, Sun 09:00 - 22:00). Take trams N°7 or 9 to the Dienvidu tilts stop.
