Velotrixi

more than a year ago
These modern rickshaws are powered by young bilingual men with strong legs – although a small electric motor does kick in to help them up hills. From past successes since launching in Berlin in 1997, velotrixis are now transporting tourists and locals alike in 40 towns in 17 countries and now they are in Prague. These two passenger pseudo-vehicles run 45 minute routes round the tourist areas of town for 600Kč. If you see an empty one, flag him down - short rides are available for a 200Kč minimum - or call free on 800 88 08 41. The drivers have cell phones and will pick you up. It can get bumpy on the cobbles, but it’s a lazy, airy way to see the sights (and get your photo taken).

Excellent way to get to know Prague! Our driver was eager to give the best of service and was very good at showing us more than one side of the community. + good visibility and airy. To be recommended! Couple from Norway
