Tucked away in a basement just off Pushkinskaya ploshchad, the "Under a fly" bar is a true dive bar, just like in the good old pre-glamour days. The interior is rough grey painted brick, there are a handful of tables to choose from plus four stools at the bar and the guy guarding the entrance looks menacing as hell. The menu is a complete surprise in return however. Food is made-to-order noodle dishes and the drinks menu is stuffed with cut-price cocktails. The crowd are as eclectic as you would expect in a 'hidden' place. Arrive early if you want to get in at the weekend – it really fills up.
