Nervi Parks (Parchi di Nervi)

more than a year ago
There are few places in Genoa as relaxing and beautiful as the Nervi parks and, with almost 100,000m2 of parkland, there’s room for everyone. The land used to belong to a group of private villas including Villa Luxoro which is now a museum, but is now run by the city council. They are particularly proud of the rose garden but there are examples of rare tropical plants too if you know what you’re looking for. Perfect for a picnic, great for squirrel spotting, just the thing for a romantic moment. It’s shady, it’s sunny, it overlooks the sea, has a lovely public swimming pool next door, there are games for the children, a small bar for the grown-ups, art museums, ballet festivals, open air cinema, concerts and theatre in the summer…

Open
