If you enjoy Spanish cuisine Bodega 59 is a reliable choice. This pleasantly decorated restaurant serves the usual selection of tapas, but with a local 'Texel touch'. And while some of the Iberian dishes are missing a spice or an authentic ingredient, the homemade cheeses and lamb chops are truly delicious. Unfortunately, the servings can be quite small, so, if you're like us, you'll need at least three or four dishes to fill your belly, but the stylish open-plan kitchen, the terrace and the extensive wine list more than make for this shortcoming.
