Unfortunately, we didn’t spot Aunt Til hanging around the kitchen, but we did run into a pleasant middle-aged man who was happy to run down the list of the day’s specials for us, which included meatballs, vegetarian lasagne and either tiramisu or baklava for dessert. Have a seat on the ground floor next to the buffet or upstairs at one of a dozen tables with views of the street below. Expect a simple interior with lime green walls covered in photo exhibitions and an unpretentious atmosphere. A four-course meal can be had for €20.
