Amsterdam

Getting there

more than a year ago
Dozens of tour companies offer organised excursions to the Keukenhof gardens and most hotel receptions can arrange one of these tours for you. You can also rent a car and take the A10 from Amsterdam to the A4 and finally the N207 will take you straight to the Keukenhof. The trip takes about an hour. The Keukenhof itself recommends bus trips with Lindbergh Tour & Travel (Damrak 26, www.lindbergh.nl) that offers up to six daily departures from its headquarters located between the Central Station and Dam Square. The tour includes fast track admission to the gardens. You can also take bus No.197 from Leidseplein or Museumplein to Schiphol Plaza and then take the Keukenhof Express bus No.858 (arrivals hall 4 entrance next to Starbucks) to the park. A combi-ticket good for both buses and admission to the park costs €29 (express bus and park admission €24).
