If you’re into standard Chinese food, Mandarijn can offer you a great location in the city centre and faux plastic Chinese art as decoration. Sadly, the restaurant and its food are somewhat of a disappointment, especially if you consider yourself a demanding diner. Three overcrowded floors of uncomfortable seats, appallingly slow service and very small serving sizes just aren't the stuff of Chinese legends. Unless you're about to faint from hunger, you might want to hold out for some of the other Asian places on the Zeedijk.
