Although designed by a renowned Dutch architect, all of this wonderful hotel's 13 rooms have Asian influences such as bamboo plants or bonsai trees, not to mention a representation of the Buddha in each room as well as a photo of a flower as an homage to its location in Amsterdam. All of the usual amenities are included such as cable TV, wireless internet and modern bathrooms with frosted glass doors. Deluxe rooms also boast mini-fridges and coffee machines and one even has its own private Asian garden. All doors are equipped with security alarms in case you forget to close them completely and free coffee is always available in the reception area. Finally, the staff are genuinely friendly and the hubbub of Leidseplein is only minutes away.
