Op de Tuin

Anybody who's more or less familiar with the Amsterdam restaurant scene knows that the standard of cooking is often high in the city, but hardly creative. Fortunately, the simple Op de Tuin is a positive exception to this bold statement. There's little point in recommending a specific dish here as the menu changes so often. We do, however, know from experience that the starters and desserts are little presents that you'll love unwrapping and that they can be upgraded to a main course. Vegetarians will also feel at home here and the courteous staff are both professional and friendly without being intrusive.
